D Is For Denoument

Hello friends!

Today's Blogging A to Z Challenge Post is a goodbye. CinemaBeach, the indie web publication for which I have written reviews for some time is no more. Perhaps it's for the best, because in the last few months I hadn't been contributing as much as I'd like to thanks to my soul-eating course load at school.

But nevertheless, I'd like to thank everybody who supported the site, it means a lot to me and the Southern California movie blogging community. Even if you hate what we have to say, it's always a great thrill to find out that somebody is reading work that you produced right out of your brain.

It's a trip.

Anyway, now begins the fun part! Organizing!

I'm moving all of my old CinemaBeach posts onto this blog. For those of you who have been following me for some time, there's not gonna be much new for you here unless you're a big fan of alternative formatting. But if you haven't had a chance to read some of my more professional, less personal (but still awesome) reviews, here's a handy dandy link list for you!

I'm really gonna miss writing for CinemaBeach, but at least we'll always have the memories, right? And the word count.
Word Count: 346

  1. Your CinemaBeach days may be over but your love of quirky movies will never die, and I thank you for taking me across the south-land and exposing/forcing me to watch them.

  2. Ah, alas, I too have had sites close down on me. Throughout the years, I have written for many a film website, only to have them go the way of probably about 90% of websites/blogs. In fact, I went and closed my own film site down just a month ago, in favour of my new all-encompassing blog, All Things Kevyn. I'm still working on bringing over my film critic workload to the new blog. Someday though. Someday.

Anyhoo, just wanted to stop by and say hi to a fellow AtoZer. See ya 'round the web. All Things Kevyn.
