W...I worked at a theater when this movie came out. When this movie was released in theaters it was rated NC-17. No one under 18 could be admitted, even babies. Like that was okay but head slicing isn't. The scene where Leatherface comes out of the dark room with the chainsaw is one of the best jump scares. Unfortunately, this is kind of where the series stops being great.
